Dr. Benjamin Gutsin
Community Eye Care Specialists (CECS) is pleased to announce the addition of optometrist Dr. Benjamin Gutsin to our team. Dr. Gutsin is a patient-focused optometrist with a strong foundation in comprehensive eye care, ocular disease management and clinical instruction.
Dr. Gutsin earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus at Drexel University, where he was selected for the prestigious 3-Year Accelerated Scholars Program. His clinical training includes externships at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilmington, Delaware; Ophthalmology Physicians & Surgeons in Collegeville, Pennsylvania; and Total Eye Care Centers in Levittown, Pennsylvania.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gutsin has received several honors, including the CooperVision Best Practice Scholarship and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. He is a contributing writer for Review of Optometric Business and a former presenter for the National Optometric Historical Society.
Dr. Gutsin will see patients at CECS’s Dunkirk location.
